  • Can I return items?
    Of course! Only under these conditions... You have 60 days to make your request known. You also must cover the cost to return unwanted item. Returns accepted if: item(s) not as described. item(s) arrived defective. item(s) don't fit. you changed your mind about item(s). --------------------------------------------------------- "Item(s) not as described" • item(s) significantly differ from the appearance and function of the item you ordered. "Item(s) arrived defective" • you opened the package and item(s) were already broken. • components of the product are missing. "Item(s) don't fit" • if your item(s) are too big or small and you just want a different size, you may be eligible for an exchange. - (see "Can I exchange an item?" tab) • if you're not interested in an exchange, you will receive a one-time promo code in the amount of your purchase. "I changed my mind and just don't want it anymore" • items must be unused, re-sent in the original package, and have intact tags. • if you've already altered item(s) or packaging significantly, Acquired Taste recommends you resell on other retailers such as eBay, Poshmark, Depop, etc. Items excluded from returns: swimsuits undergarments
  • Can I exchange items?
    Yes, you can! You have 60 days to decide on an exchange. You also must cover the cost to return unwanted item. Remember that exchanging items depends on the quantity Acquired Taste has on hand. If your request can't be fulfilled, you may be eligible for a return. - (see "Can I return items?" tab) If your item is... • not your size or color and it's the exact price of another of our items (no matter if that item is regular price or on sale) ...you're eligible for an exchange. --------------------------------------------------------- Limitations: • only one item per even exchange (excluding tax). • exchange is not possible if you've damaged or altered the item from its original state.
  • How do you handle refunds?
    Good question. We do refunds in the form of store credit and full tender refunds, depending on the situation. You must email contact@acquired-taste.co with video proof of unsatisfactory order. Must be a valid reason. STORE CREDITS: all store credits will be in the form of a one-time promo code valued at the amount paid for the unsatisfactory item(s). • If you wanted to even exchange, but the item you'd like to exchange for cannot be fulfilled because we've sold out or the prices don't match, you will receive a store credit. • If a sale ends and the price goes back to normal at the time you request an even exchange, unfortunately, we cannot process your request. • Please remember that certain items are ineligible for returns. (see "Can I return items?" tab) FULL REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IF... • you never received your item. • you received a defective item. • you ordered an item, but received something totally different... our bad. • we mistakenly sent you the wrong size or color -- exchange or refund option available. • you changed your mind about the item(s) -- return undamaged, packaged item. return shipping applies.
  • Do I have to pay for shipping?
    Since Acquired Taste is just starting, customers will have to pay for shipping on orders under $30* We strive to get to a point where we're able to offer everyone free shipping. Your support during this growth period will contribute to that effort. Thank you to everyone that decides to patronize! we currently do not offer international shipping. *If you have a special order with larger and heavier items, you will have to pay higher shipping fee.
  • How long will it take for my order to get here?
    Of course, the amount of days varies depending on your location. Delivery is estimated to be 2 - 7 business days.
